This week (April 20), T-Mobile held the official launch event for their new G-Slate 4G Tablet and G2x with Google in New York. Both devices have some alluring features, and T-Mobile did a great job of showcasing their various uses during the three-hour event. My personal favorite option is the HDMI compatibility… yep, Angry Birds on the big screen!
First up is LG’s G2x Android, a sharp looking 4G phone that boasts a dual-core processor, on-demand TV and pre-loaded games. CNET and BGR both gave the G2x their “Best of CTIA” award for 2011 phones, and CNET’s descriptive walk-through video is below for your viewing pleasure.
The G-Slate, also equipped with the super fast T-Mobile 4G network, has great capacity for everything from business to gaming. There was quite a buzz about the G-Slate after it was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2011, and there is no doubt that it’ll give other tablets on the market some competition.
Depending on what kind of contract and rebate you get with T-Mobile, the G-Slate will start at around $530. Will it be worth the money? Engadget.com did a very comprehensive review of the G-Slate with photos and videos, and you can click here to read that.
Follow T-Mobile on Twitter @TMobile and @TMOnews for the latest updates on their products… including a G4 Sidekick. Wow!
