When Best Buy asked me to check out the new Samsung 4K SUHD TV displays in NYC, I couldn’t resist inspecting the technology – mainly because I’m addicted to my television on so many levels. I heard that there was also a featured Jurassic World clip playing with the presentation, however neither of the stores I visited had it yet. Despite that little disappointment, I still got to witness the stunning colors in a featured clip about Brazil, and another clip of Marvel’s The Avengers.
In each store, Samsung has a really cool step-by-step guide in their 4K SUHD kiosks, which will answer most of your questions about what you’re witnessing. But we all know the proof is in the pudding, so here’s me… standing two inches from each screen trying to find pixels! I suppose I looked funny to other customers, but I didn’t care. If I’m reviewing this TV, I’m going to get into the heart of it.
When all was said and done, I fell in love with the 55″ curved version. Just stunning! The good thing is that no matter what size you get, both the flat and curved designs are equally as crisp. Now I have a new pool of money to save up for my next television.
