He may be People Magazine‘s Sexiest Man Alive for 2010, but Ryan Reynolds is getting down and dirty in the big screen adaptation of DC Comics‘ Green Lantern in the Summer of 2011!
Green Lantern co-stars Gossip Girl‘s Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard (Orphan, Knight and Day), Mark Strong (Kick-Ass, RocknRolla), Jon Tenney (Legion, Brothers & Sisters) and New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison (Couples Retreat).
I must say, early rumors of Common taking the lead role had me a little excited, but I think Ryan Reynolds will do the character justice. The trailer was met this week with some groans and moans from critics, but we’ll hope for the best!
