Last night (March 8), vibrant personality Simone “Boss Lady” Kapsalides of DrJays.com hosted an incredible International Women’s Day celebration for women in entertainment, fashion and media at the Carol’s Daughter flagship store in Harlem, New York.
Dozens of successful ladies came together to enjoy cupcakes from Get ‘Em Girls‘ Cupcake Suite and complimentary drinks from the Lady Hennessey line.
Starlets like singers Wynter Gordon and Mashonda and rappers Nina B and Tylibah were in attendance, along with entertainment mogul Mona Scott, Aleesha Smalls and Aura Harewood of the Roc Nation team and celebrity bloggers like Karen Civil and Eb the Celeb. That’s just a short list – the room was packed!!
People enjoyed manicures and select gift bags from Carol’s Daughter, as DJ Jazzy Joyce kept the music flowing through the room. The event was so successful, we’re hoping Boss Lady does this again soon!!!
