Dads, step-dads and even mentors, if you’re celebrating Father’s Day this weekend, enjoy a little time for yourself to wrap up the day! Our friends at 1800 Tequila came up with some marvelous chilled cocktail recipes to wind down with. Or if you’d like to gift a dad you know, try 1800 Tequila’s new line of “essential” artistic bottles!
For now, get out your shakers and try the Proud Papa, Straight Up and The Saint.
Do-it-all moms, we didn’t forget about you! Check out the Silver Tequila Pomegranate Martini for a light, sweet way to top off the weekend, and honor your hard work too.
Proud Papa
1 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila
.25 oz. Pear Puree
.25 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.25 oz. Agave Nectar
Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a lightly salted glass.
Straight Up
2 oz. 1800
Lime juice
Lime wedge to garnish
Pour tequila in a glass over ice. Add fresh lime juice to taste and stir.
The Saint (A mojito with a hint of elderberry to round out the flavor pairings)
2 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila
.5 oz. St. Germain
4 Lime wedges
5 Large mint leaves
.5 oz. Agave Nectar
Splash of club soda
Muddle nectar, mint, and limes in the bottle of a cocktail glass. Top with ice, add liquors, shake, and pour all contents into a rocks glass. Top with club soda.
Pomegranate Martini
2 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila
1 oz. Pama Pomegranate Liquor
.5 oz. Pineapple Juice
Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and strain into a sugar rimmed martini glass.
