Mad Men star Christina Hendricks appeared on The View today (July 22) to discuss Season 4 of the popular AMC series, which kicks off on Sunday, July 25 at 10:00pm EST.
The show was the first basic cable series to ever win an Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 2008, and repeated the win in 2009. Now 35-year-old Hendricks (Joan) is nominated for a 2010 Supporting Actress Emmy alongside co-star Elisabeth Moss (Peggy), who was also nominated last year in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.
In the beginning of the interview (not in the clip), Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasslebeck talk about Christina’s May 2010 Esquire Magazine cover (pictured below). On a funny note, guest co-host Alexandra Wentworth (who is married to Good Morning America‘s George Stephanopoulos) revealed her girl crush on Hendricks, getting a little extra cozy on the couch!
