The romantic comedy Crazy Stupid Love hits theaters today (July 29), and judging from Rotten Tomatoes’ reviews from critics around the country, it’s worth checking out!

The film stars Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon, and revolves around Cal, a Gen-X husband/father (Carell) who tries to find some magic and maintain family relationships after his wife (Moore) cheats on him. After a random meet-up with a polished playboy (Gosling), Cal begins to explore strange new territory in romance.

Crazy Stupid Love was written by Dan Fogelman, the mastermind of animated films like Bolt, Tangled and Cars; and was co-directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who also co-directed Jim Carrey’s I Love You Phillip Morris.
