Here is the brand new trailer for Season 6 of Dexter, which will debut October 2, 2011 on Showtime. This week at the 2011 Comic-Con in San Diego, star Michael C. Hall engaged in some Q&A with the press, namely speaking on Dexter’s new awareness, and how his actions could possibly affect his young son.

Fans of the series have been buzzing about what will happen this time around, and it was reported in the Spring that Mos Def is joining the cast, along with Colin Hanks (King Kong, The Good Guys) and veteran actor Edward James Olmos.

In this trailer, fittingly set to Marilyn Manson’s cover of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” we get our first look at Mos Def‘s character Samuel Wright, an ex-con who has found religion, but can’t seem to get away from violence around him. Will you be tuning in on October 2?? Let us know!
