Political thriller Fair Game stars the ever-brilliant Naomi Watts as CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson, who was exposed publicly as a spy in 2003 in retaliation for her husband Joseph Wilson‘s (Sean Penn) New York Times article about the Bush Adminstration’s motives behind the invasion of Iraq.
The film is adapted from Plame-Wilson’s 2007 book Fair Game and co-stars Bruce McGill (Obsessed, Law Abiding Citizen), Ty Burrell (Modern Family), Brooke Smith (Grey’s Anatomy), Sam Shepard (The Notebook, Brothers) and Dave Denman (The Office).
