This new official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is wicked! Batman (Christian Bale) returns eight years after his entanglement with Harvey Dent, this time fighting to save Gotham City from terrorist Bane, played by Tom Hardy.
The cast includes Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman; Joseph Gordon-Levitt as police officer John Blake; Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, a board member of Wayne Enterprises; Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon; Morgan Freeman as the head of Wayne Enterprises; and Matthew Modine as Nixon. Michael Caine reprises his role as Batman’s trusty butler Alfred.
You also see several members of the Pittsburgh Steelers in this clip – all real players!
Award-winning director Chris Nolan returns to finalize this amazing trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters July 2012 via Warner Bros. Pictures. Check out the trailer below!
