A real life slam poetry champion, Hardwick made waves in 2010 with his role in Tyler Perry‘s powerful film For Colored Girls as Janet Jackson‘s two-timing husband. The star of TNT’s undercover cop series Dark Blue, Hardwick has also appeared in movies like Kick-Ass, The A-Team, Next Day Air and Miracle at St. Anna.
In 2011, you’ll be able to catch Omari Hardwick in the film Bolden! alongside Anthony Mackie, Wendell Pierce, Omar Gooding, Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) and Jackie Earl Haley (Watchmen, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010).
