People Magazine has unveiled its “25 Years of Sexy” issue, with actor Ryan Reynolds voted the Sexiest Man Alive for 2010. The 34-year-old actor jokes that some words from his wife Scarlett Johansson might be even sweeter at home, like “Sexiest man, take out the garbage.”

Reynolds joins a long list of fine men since Mel Gibson first took the honor in 1985, with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Matt Damon, Jude Law, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

Other sexy Gen-X men on the 2010 list include Jon Hamm (Mad  Men), Matthew Morrison (Glee), rocker Jon Bon Jovi, John Manganiello (True Blood), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Robert Downey Jr., Justin Timberlake, Vin Diesel and Jake Gyllenhaal.

How do you feel about Ryan Reynolds getting top billing this year? Let us know your thoughts!
