It was announced back in May 2010 that actress/singer Vanessa Williams (47) would be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives, and in June some details surfaced about her new character Renee Perry. Now the official Season 7 cast photo has been released!
According to TVFanatic.com, the new housewife is a former college rival of Lynette (Felicity Huffman), not-so-happily married for years with no kids. Probably the happiest guy on the planet right about now, 31-year-old Reggie Austin (The Starter Wife, Life Unexpected) will portray Williams’ baseball player husband on the show.
It was also confirmed by TV Guide in June that Brian Austin Green will be on this season as well. The 37-year-old former 90210 star (a.k.a. Megan Fox‘s hubby) will star as a “charming playboy” contractor… but which housewife will get her cougar on? Rumor has it that it will be Mrs. Perry and Bree (Marcia Cross) entrapped in a love battle for the blue collar stud!!
